Following on from a record-breaking 20th Anniversary show last year, which saw the coming together of over 750 visitors and 45 exhibitors, The Schoolwear Show is now well on with preparations for its next exciting edition taking place this October.
The Schoolwear Show is the UK’s biggest event in the industry’s calendar and will be returning to Cranmore Park Conference & Event Centre in Solihull from Sunday 14th to Tuesday 16th October. At its core are five leading industry companies namely William Turner, David Luke, Rowlinson, Gymphlex and Banner. The Directors of these businesses founded the show and continue to be a driving force today as well as being highly supportive of the Schoolwear Association, the voice of the industry.
However, over and above these there will be more exhibitors than ever before, who between them will offer the most comprehensive range of sportswear and schoolwear products. Buyers can expect an impressive selection of ranges on show from established brands such as 1880 Club, Trutex, Magic Fit, Chadwick, Halbro, Zeco, Falcon, Charles Kirk, Net Digitizing, Stabilo, Top to Toe, Helix Maped, Optimium, Pex, YES, Lollipop, Tie & Scarf, Marton Mills, Gardiner Bros, National Weaving, Pencarrie, Magic Touch, KT Labels, Diamond Textiles, Amaya and Eskimo and many more. In addition, after successful debuts last year the show will include returning Brands RagTagd, Innovation, Prestige, Denby Dale, Wren, KK Schoolwear and new this year will be Maudesport, Russell, Roberto Group and Caribee.
For the first time there will be a comprehensive Show Guide given to all visitors listing details of all exhibitors as a useful reference during and after the show.
With supermarkets continuing their attempt to increase their market share, as well as the opening of more Academies, and an increase in the number of schools reviewing their uniform policies The Schoolwear Show is more important than ever. It is the best place to be to see what is available in the market, including new product launches and new suppliers, as well as giving you the opportunity to network and keep up to date with the latest industry news.
Now looking ahead to its 21st birthday, the show has undergone a total rebrand with a new fresh and modern look and visitors in October will see a completely new show layout format and a number of exciting additions including daily seminars on “Tendering to Win” and “Sustainability & School Uniform”. These address how to help schoolwear specialists give themselves the best chance to win business and the growing awareness of environmental issues in relation to the sector. The seminars will be free and give more reason to visit by raising awareness and challenging the status quo with some interesting and practical ideas.
Online registration and parking are free and open to all buyers. Attendees will be treated to an excellent complimentary lunch and free refreshments will be available throughout the day.
