Associated Independent Stores (AIS) is changing its strategy for supporting the toy sector. The annual INDX Toy Show will be replaced with a new and exclusive event for its Members and key Suppliers, starting in 2026.
This decision comes in response to an increasingly crowded trade show landscape. AIS is now focusing on creating more targeted, one-to-one networking opportunities to better serve its Members.
Rosie, Head of Toys at AIS, said:
"The toy market is highly dynamic, and our Members are seeking more specific, tailored interactions with their Suppliers,"
"This new format allows our buyers to have in-depth discussions with key Suppliers, ensuring they can curate the best possible product mix."
The event will provide an exclusive setting where a select group of key Suppliers can present their product lines directly to AIS Members. Attendees will also have access to a VIP lunch and information on the margin-driven Toy Import Programme.
The inaugural event is scheduled for 17 March 2026.
