I have recently joined the AIS Home team, bringing over 25 years of experience in the Home, Beauty, and Gifting industry. With a strong background in buying and product development, I’ve worked with renowned brands such as Laura Ashley, Home Retail Group, and more recently Next.
I’m passionate about creating inspiring, high-quality collections and driving commercial success and I’m very much excited to be back in the independent retail sector and to support AIS members in achieving their goals.
A Familiar Face
This isn’t my first relationship with AIS. At the beginning of my career, I worked at Trendsetter (The Fine Bedding Company). I remember implementing duvet displays in AIS stores and have always admired AIS’s unique position in bringing together innovative suppliers and independent retailers.
Opportunities for Independent Retailers
I believe independent retailers have a significant advantage over mainstream chains by offering a more immersive and engaging shopping experience. I look forward to working with members on product knowledge, balanced product ranges and seasonal packages, as well as presenting the potential of introducing new and emerging brands to AIS members.
I will be working with the AIS team and suppliers to develop and curate product that aligns with current trends and supports the commercial needs of AIS members - especially with an increased focus on promotional lines. I’m also looking forward to meeting Members at the INDX Home show in February, a great opportunity to experience the community spirit of membership first hand.
